Meet Jitendra Vaswani from

With over 300 million WordPress sites on the internet, new WordPress resources and guides seem to pop up every day. Some people think the industry is flooded with too many WP help pages, while I still think this is a great way for anyone to not only become a better blogger, but also a great way for them to brand their own and build your own business.

This is exactly what Jitendra has done with his own network of websites while building a nice following and business of his own at the same time. Find out more about Jitendra and his websites in this latest edition of Meet the Bloggers.

1.) Please tell us something about yourself and how you got into blogging.

Hey Zac, thank you very much for this interview.

I'm Jitendra Vaswani, professional blogger and digital marketing consultant from India. I am the founder of the internet marketing blog It's my first official blog. I am also operated by the digital marketing agency

I'm an engineer by training and a digital marketer by profession.

I started blogging while doing my job as an SEO specialist in a private company. One of my friends told me that blogging is a good resource for making money online and since I was good at SEO, my friend said that I should start a blog as a freelancer and you can learn more from blogging.

This is how my blogging journey begins. So far, I enjoy blogging and I also love interacting with other bloggers.

2.) What is the main focus of your blog and why did you choose this niche?

My focus for blogs is internet marketing. I choose this niche because I'm good at it. I prefer to do things that I'm good at. I don't want to mislead anyone I'm not very intellectual with.

So internet marketing is a very growing niche and I love guiding webmasters in SEO, blogging and various digital marketing niches.

My blog: BloggersIdeas mainly focuses on product reviews, SEO updates, and the latest news on digital marketing trends.

I also run my tech blog,, where I share tech news. This niche is new to me and I am learning a lot in this niche.

3.) How are you currently monetizing your blog traffic?

I am currently monetizing my blog through the things listed below

  • Adsense
  • Paid ads
  • Sponsored reviews
  • Paid guest posts
  • Selling affiliate marketing products
  • Selling services through my blog
  • Brand Ambassador Partnerships (currently one of the Payoneer brand ambassadors in India)
  • Event Management & Speaking (restarted)

I don't want to stick to certain monetizing things. So I keep experimenting with new things on my blog. I am not dependent on a source of income. I keep exploring because it's not good to be dependent on a resource. Marketers should keep looking for new ways to monetize traffic.

I would suggest that all newbies who don't depend on a monetization method will always find more. Most bloggers make these mistakes while depending on some source of income and then suffer from a financial crisis. Blogging is a very competitive niche. So without exploration, you cannot have success.

4.) What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started blogging?

I wish I had a computer when I was 15 years old. At that age I could start blogging. Because I am currently seeing a lot of teen bloggers rock blogging with good knowledge of internet marketing terms like SEO, SMO, PPC, PPV, and others.

When I started blogging, I wasn't aware of hosting things. I had a lot of problems hosting my blog. I wish I could have someone to help me choose the right hosting.

I also wish I could have the right mentor when I start blogging because right mentors will help you be more successful.

5.) Which three blogs do you visit almost every day?

There are a lot of blogs I visit every day, but I love these blogs.

I would advise all budding bloggers and marketers to read blogs as authority blogs provide updates on what is going on in the internet marketing world.

So keep an eye on all of these updates. You will expand your knowledge and be able to implement your plans better.

6.) Can you give us three recommended tools / services that you use for your blogging?

I use many tools for my blogging. But I would recommend these 3 tools

  • AdWords: Keyword Tool
  • SEMrush: Keyword Research
  • Ahrefs: For tracking backlinks
  • backlink tracking
  • Buffer app: social sharing
  • Some blackhat tools
  • Moneyrobot
  • GSA search engine rankers

7.) What advice would you have for someone just starting their first blog?

For someone starting their blog. Keep track of these crucial things

  1. Choose a good domain name
  2. Choose the right hosting
  3. Pick a niche that you are good at
  4. How many blog posts do you need in a week or a month?
  5. Make a strategic plan and act on it
  6. Make time for social media sharing and interaction too.
  7. Choose the right mentors

8.) What is the best advice or tip you have come across since starting blogging?

I have received tips from various top marketers and have followed their tips very seriously.

The best tip I've received is that no one depends on blogging. Try to do things yourself and search the internet for solutions.

Too much addiction kills your talent. So avoid it.

9.) If you only had $ 100 to start a new blog, how would you use it?

I would choose an expired domain to work on. Cheap expired domain from GoDaddy auction and make this blog a micronic blog that doesn't require a large investment. Write 2-3 articles on it and create some backlinks for it and you can get ranked and make money on it.

Micro niche blog is a good investment at $ 100.

10.) How can readers of the blog get in touch with you?

My readers can contact me through my blogs or social profiles

  • Tech blog:
  • IM blog:
  • Personal portfolio:
  • Facebook:
  • Twitter: @JitendraBlogger
